The Vince Noir Project is a band out of the Philippines made up of four rocking guys and a gal. They met while playing music in the local indie band scene and became acquaintances, friends, and ultimately bandmates. With so many different musical influences it is hard for the VNP to pigeonhole their sound, they love makin music of all kinds; but when pressed for an answer regarding genre they use psychedelic/electro/indie rock to describe their music. However, they prefer to say their sound is more like one helluva party rather than genre specific! The band formed in May 2007 and are comprised of Aless Tinio (vox), Tani Santos (guitars), Rembrandt Vocalan (synths, guitar), Pete Ferrer (bass), and Wally Contento (drums).

The sound of SOUND is about, quite simply, city life. In its purest and most unadulterated, it is inspired by, married with, and dedicated to this colorful city in which we live. From their firstborn, independently presented to the world in 2003 under the name BossaManila, which became regarded as a good example of a band proving that independent releases could hold their own alongside the major players in the industry, to their most recent 2006 offering Blue Monsoon, the band’s wide range of metropolitan lyrical themes, musical styles and emotions tell the story of its evolution along with the city that arouses it, and the songs reflect what it’s like and how it feels to live in a city so full of drama and history, at the same time painting a picture of urban life in the third world that many will be able to relate to no matter where in the world they are from.

KATE TORRALBA

SWISSY

Swissy is a singer/songwriter from Australia. She draws inspiration from personal life experiences and heart-felt emotion - love, happiness, fear, failure and hope. Her lyrics are honest and sometimes whimsical. She is a contradiction of woman and child - her voice is child-like but she speaks of womanly emotions and experiences.
In late 2006, she packed her bags to pursue a career in music in her motherland, The Philippines. She was immediately signed by one of the most well-respected indie labels in the country, Terno Recordings.

REX (USA)

Balancing light and shadow with sex appeal and a solid rock & roll heart, REX can either seduce you with a darkly synth groove or bang your head against the wall with a metallic roar.
Recalling the Gothic lushness of Siouxsie & the Banshees, the sultry melancholy and guitar-fueled punch of Evanescence, and the quirky New Wave pop of Missing Persons, REX offers a whisper and a scream in the same satin-smooth package.
